400gr of rice.
A liter of water.
A small onion, very chopped.
8 tablespoons of oil.
Some leaves or buds of aromatic herbs.
Place oil in a saucepan and let it heat up.
When it is hot, add the onion, already minced, and give it a few turns and add the rice and sauté a little.
It is moistened with boiling water, seasoned with salt, the saffron, and pepper (or other spices) are added, and when it begins to boil it is put in the oven (or embers are placed on top of the casserole lid).
The cooking will last in the oven for 15 minutes.
